A “stem cell lift”, a new cosmetic procedure that is aimed to restore soft tissue volume and a youthful appearance to the face is now being performed by Dr. Aamer Khan at the Harley Street Medical Skin Clinic in London. The procedure utilizes the patient’s own fat and the stem and regenerative cells abundant within fat tissue; the resulting mixture is injected into the desired areas of the face. The first patient to undergo the procedure, Linda Shepherd, who was unwilling to undergo invasive facial surgery, is thrilled with the results. A similar technique is being used for breast reconstruction in London.
