Who is a candidate?
Candidates for the cell-enriched procedure include patients who would like to enhance their appearance, enlarge their breasts without implants or who have had implants in the past but are unhappy with the results.
What can my patients expect after treatment?
Your patients can expect to see a noticeable difference very soon after surgery. The results will be natural looking and feeling. Over time, as your patients heal and the swelling subsides, the results will be even more noticeable. To ensure patient satisfaction, it is important that you evaluate your patients prior to surgery, set appropriate patient expectations, and explain how the procedure can help to achieve the look your patients desire.
What are possible complications with cell-enriched fat grafting?
Possible complications include the risks associated with the medications and methods used during surgery and the risks associated with any surgical procedure, including traditional fat grafting. Please click here to learn more. For breast reconstruction or augmentation, we strongly recommend the use of imaging (mammogram or MRI) in your pre-operative patient assessment and post-operative patient surveillance to detect any abnormal changes of the tissue.
